Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati was the first Sarvajanik Ganesh utsav of India.
Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari was King's physician (Rajvaidya). He had his eleemosynary clinic at his residence. Patients from all over the country used to come to him for treatment.
His full name was Bhausaheb Lakshman Jawle.
This year i.e in 2020 Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati has completed 121 years.
This idol of Ganesha was erected by Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari in 1892. This idol of Ganesha, who attacked the demon and sent him to Yamasadani, is very unique and has been made using wood and sawdust.
