Sewage treatment plant in NCL
Pune: A wastewater treatment plant based on fitorid technology has been set up at the National Chemical Laboratory. It was inaugurated on Wednesday (Thu. 1) in a virtual manner by the Union Minister of Science and Technology Dr. It has been done by Harshvardhan. At this time, the Director General of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Dr. Dr. Shekhar Mande, Director, NCL S. Chandrasekhar, former director Pvt. Ashwin Kumar Nangia was also present.
The National Institute of Environmental Engineering Research (NERI) at Nagpur has developed a wastewater treatment plant based on "fitorid technology" and the project has been set up in "NCL" with the help of Technogreen Environment Services. "Sewage treatment plants need to be set up to make the NCL premises environmentally friendly. This will inspire other CSIR laboratories to set up similar projects," he said. Chandrasekhar said.
Water purification, wastewater treatment, tap water etc. are on the main agenda of the central government. All the laboratories of CSIR need to acquire this technology within the next year. The aim is to earn the trust of the people with the technology by successfully implementing the indigenous technology.
