Leaning tower of Macarons - The only tourist destination I visited this year 😋
Macarons have been an acquired taste for me. The first time I tried it, I found them overrated. Slowly, I began developing a taste for them and now I can't imagine going to a café and not having Macarons!
These delicate cookies are meringue-based and made of egg whites, almond flour and sugar. Perhaps there will be a day when making Macarons becomes as easy as making chocolate mousse. Until then, I'll get my batch of Macarons from Irani Café.
