Gokhalenagar, 23rd: The contribution of manpower managers in the industrial world is important in times of crisis like Kovid 19. This is the opinion of Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Expressed by Vinay Sahasrabuddhe. He was speaking at the launch of a research paper on 'Covid 19's Impact on Manpower Development and Business Sustainability' organized by the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) in Pune on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the field of manpower management needs to be defined as human relations instead of human resources. That is to say, the changes that take place in social life during any calamity and the innovations that are attempted while addressing the problem. It needs to be taken seriously as a subject of knowledge. Sahasrabuddhe also said that this research book published on behalf of NIPM will be a guide for the entire business world.

Dr. Sahasrabuddhe also appealed to the NIPM to continue research on the work culture of the industry, changes in working style due to information technology and how to increase the confidence of the employees in the work they are doing.

On this occasion, Dr. Savitribai Phule, Vice Chancellor of Pune University. Nitin Karmalkar gave detailed information about various research projects started by the university.

Introducing the program, Vishwesh Kulkarni, National President, National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), said that the Center would cooperate in granting the status of Chartered States to manpower managers as well as doctors, lawyers and CAs.

At this time the event was organized by Bharat Forge Ltd. H. of the company. R and I. Dr. Director of the Department. S. V. Bhave, Savitribai Phule Rajesh Pandey, a member of the Management Council of Pune University and fifty manpower managers of various reputed companies were present on the background of Kovid 19. There was an online presence of about a thousand manpower managers through Facebook Live. The program was moderated by Hemangi Dhokte, Chief Manpower Manager, Actuation Technologies Emerson Company and thanked by Narendra Patil, Secretary, NIPM.

The program concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
