Cellulose by Maitreyee Pendse is a clothing brand that believes in sustainable fasion. Cellulose aims to make sustainable ready-to-wear using Indian handcrafted fabrics. 

Maitreyee says, “I have always been an environment friendly person plus I always wanted to have a business of my own. So why not club both the things? I have been creative and I always wanted to be a part of the fashion industry but not by exploiting people and environment around me. Which is why I came up with cellulose.” 
Maitreyee plans to release only one collection every year because she believes in reducing overconsumption. “We can style the same clothes in different ways. How good your fabric is plays a vital role here. Handloom fabric is usually long lasting and that is what we, at cellulose use. My next collection will be up in April 2021.” 
Cellulose got noticed by marathi celebrities as well due to it’s concept. 
Cellulose helps in styling too. 
The range varies from 1000-6000 depending upon the clothing and the embroidery.
