Introduce 'mobile veterinary vehicle' to farmers

Mukhyamantri Pashusvastha Yojana has been launched under the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Maharashtra to provide animal health services to the doorsteps of animal keepers. Under this scheme, a 'mobile veterinary vehicle' equipped with medicines and modern equipment has been made available for Maval taluka.

This will provide the required veterinary services in the shortest possible time by coordinating the mobile veterinary vehicle and the existing veterinary clinics.

Livestock is often slaughtered for lack of veterinary services. This causes huge losses to the farmers. In order to increase the capacity of livestock as a supplementary occupation, they need to be in good health and provide quality veterinary services. With this in mind, this vehicle will be important for the veterinary service in Maval taluka.
