Overwhelming response to Kite Festival on Republic Day
A dheel de re .... dheel ... this sound was heard at the kite festival at Dhayari after breaking many children. In the Kite Festival organized by Shivshankar Mitra Mandal on the occasion of Republic Day, a large number of competitors had gathered at Dadasaheb Chavan Maidan in DSK World to fly kites. So the sky here was full of different colored kites.
Mrinal Sable (1st), Viraj Benkar (2nd), Aryan Pethkar (3rd), Chinmay Khedkar (1st), Sai Pokle (2nd), Srirang Chaudhary (3rd), 18th in the 5 to 10 years group Rajan Shah (1st), Manthan Gawhane (2nd), Rajesh Dunk (1st), Praveen Anwat (2nd), Supriya Abnave (3rd) competed in the 25 age group. All the winning contestants were honored by the dignitaries with medals and certificates. Bharti University School Mumbai's Akash Gholap, Archana Gholap and A.S. R. J. Atul Lokhande of International School Bijapur started the work.
Kakasaheb Chavan, President of NCP Khadakwasala Assembly Constituency, Asha Benkar, Former Sarpanch of Dhayari village, Dada Vedak, Head of Akhil Bharatiya Vishwa Hindu Parishad Satsang, Sumit Benkar, Sachin Benkar, Vinayak Benkar, Kundan Benkar, Sachin Nagpure, Dattaji Kale, Prasad Gavhane were present on the occasion.
