Coriander, Safflower, Amaranth, Chuka and Spinach become expensive

On Sunday, the market yard received 1 lakh bundles of Cilantro, 50,000 bundles of Fenugreek and 35,000 bundles of Chickpea. Coriander prices rose by Rs 7 per bundle, Chakwat by Rs 2, Flax, Amaranth and Spinach by Rs 2 each and Safflower by Rs 1 each, while Chawla, per bundle, by Rs 3 and Shepu by Rs 2, informed Amte Ghule, Vice President, Adte Association.

Prices of leafy vegetables (100 per bundle) Cilantro: 1000-1500, Fenugreek: 600-1000, Shepu: 400-600, Onion: 800-1000, Chakwat: 500-700, Safflower: 500-700, Peppermint 150-250, Flax 600- 700, Roots: 300-700, Rajgira: 500-700, Chuka 700-800, Chawlai: 600-700, Spinach: 600-800, Gram Gaddi: 300-600.
