The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) administered the retest examination on November 5th, 6th and 7th for students who couldn't appear or faced technical glitches during the main examination.
According to the college administration, they were conducting the retest exam for the second time. Announcement about the retest exam was conveyed through email to each student. Following this, students were made to fill Google form where they registered their complaints & rolled out for a retest.
As many as 26,000 google forms were received by SPPU for a retest. Observing the situation a retest was taken on 5th, 6th & 7th Nov. However, according to the data received from Maharashtra Student Welfare Association(MSWA), again 310 students have demanded to reconduct the examination for the third time as they still faced errors.
Furthermore, Mahesh Kakade, Director of Examination and Evaluation, SPPU, said, “On 5th November 1,500 students registered for a retest but only 5,088 students showed up. On 6th November 24,500 students registered but only 10,076 students were present. Similarly, on 7th November 38,900 filled the google form, but only 13,200 gave the exam.
