Strict blockade on Pune-Panshet road

Haveli police have set up a blockade at Khadakwasla Dam Chowk on Pune-Panshet road and vehicles are being thoroughly inspected. Action is being taken against the driver and other passengers if they are found driving under the influence of alcohol.

Many youngsters and other tourists come to Khadakwasla, Sinhagad and Panshet to bid farewell to the new year and welcome the new year. Large parties are organized in places like farm houses, resorts. But this year, the government has set some rules against the backdrop of the corona. Therefore, there are limits on organizing big parties. Khadakwasla Dam Chowk is being investigated by the Haveli Police to prevent accidents or other misconduct by some naughty tourists, drunk drivers. Assistant Inspector of Police Nitin Nam has also planned to patrol a team from Nanded Fateh to Ambi village near Panshet.
