Increase in the rates of Leafy Vegetables

Prices of cilantro, fenugreek, onion, safflower, mint, amaranth, chukka and black eyed beans have gone up due to lower inflow of leafy vegetables in the vegetable sector. 

Two lakh bunches of cilantro arrived in the market yard while 50,000 to 60,000 bunches of fenugreek arrived. In the wholesale market, cilantro rose by Rs 1.5, fenugreek by Rs 3, onion by Rs 2, safflower by Rs 2, mint by Rs 1, amaranth by Rs 2, chukka by Rs 1, chawla by Rs 1 and shepu by Rs 1 and hemp by Rs 2.

Leafy vegetables prices (Percent batch): Coriander: 200-500 , Fenugreek: 300-700 , Dill (Shepu):200-400, tuber (kandapaath): 1600-2200, Safflower: 400, 600 , mint: 200-300 , flax : 500-600, amaranth: 300-60, black eyed peas: 300-600 rupees.
