Minority Rights Day program in Yerwada

Legal Services Authority, Chetna Mahila Vikas Kendra, National Dalit Movement for Justice jointly organized a lecture series on the occasion of Minority Rights Day. At this time, Adv. Asunta Pardhe was present. Vilas Kirote of Rashtra Seva Dal provided guidance on this occasion.

Kirote said the constitution provides for the establishment of voluntary and educational institutions for minorities, as well as the start of hostels. It is necessary to implement the recommendations of the Sachar Committee for the Development of the Muslim Community. If more than twenty five per cent minorities live in the district, then various schemes of the Central Government can be implemented there. There are more than 25% minorities in 121 districts of the country.
