Baner, Balewadi Champashthi festival celebrated

Champashthi festival was celebrated at Baner, Balewadi. The Khandoba temple at Chakankar Mala was decorated with flowers. Vinod Chakankar has built Khandoba temple in front of his house on the day of Champashti in 1999 at Chakankar Mala. Every year, a six-day festival is celebrated in this temple by marrying a pure Pratipada. Laghurudra abhishek is performed in the morning on the day of Champashti. Devotees in this area take advantage of Darshan.
