The Forest Department should learn from the death of Rangava
The Forest Department should learn a lesson from the death of Rangava in Kothrud area, a statement was given to Chief Forest Conservator Sujay Dodal on behalf of NCP Yuvati Congress.
There needs to be a policy on how to get rid of wildlife in urban areas. It is also necessary to have well-equipped and trained forest rangers to rescue the animal. They also need some expert and trained NGO workers to help them. However, the Rangavya case has revealed that the forest department does not have a concrete plan in this regard. NCP Yuvati Congress in-charge Manali Bhilare, Gitanjali Sarge, Snehal Shingare, Sonali Gade, Shivani Malwadkar, Sharmili Kadam, Sejal Shingare etc. were present on this occasion.
