The water of Bhama Askhed is our right

Corporator Shweta Galande demanded that the citizens of Nagar Rasta area should get enough water from Bhama Askhed project.

Wadgaon Sheri, Vimannagar, Chandannagar, Kharadi, Kalwad, Lohgaon, Dhanori, Tingrenagar are supplied 190 MLD of water daily from the Army Water Station. But this water falls short. Citizens are suffering due to inadequate and irregular water supply. The water problem persists despite repeated protests by citizens for water. 

The Bhama-Askhed water supply scheme will supply around 200 million liters of water per day to the urban road area. This will solve the problem of water scarcity in the area. The water of Bhama Askhed project belongs to the citizens of Nagar Road area. They have been facing water scarcity for many years. Now they will get the right water. Corporator Galande has demanded that the water from Lashkar and Bhama Askhed project should not be given to other areas.
