Prices of Ambemohor rice have gone up

The rice season has started in the last few days in the Pune market. Ambemohor rice is being imported in large quantities from Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. This year, the price of ambemohor rice from both the states has gone up as compared to last year. Compared to last year, the price has gone up by Rs 800 to Rs 1,000 per quintal this year.

The price of Ambemohor rice in Madhya Pradesh was Rs 6,000 per quintal, while in Andhra Pradesh it was Rs 7,000 per quintal. However, this year, the price of Ambemohor rice in Madhya Pradesh is Rs 6,800 to Rs 7,000 per quintal and rice in Andhra Pradesh is Rs 7,800 to Rs 8,000 per quintal. Flexible kolam rice is priced at Rs 4,700 to Rs 5,000 per quintal this year.
