Road work in Kothrud is incomplete

The road from Karve Statue in Kothrud to Bhelkenagar Chowk, Ashish Garden, Shrishti Society, Eklavya College to Katraj Bangalore bypass is in a state of disrepair due to several obstructions. Will this road in the development plan be completed? Will the promises made by politicians be fulfilled? There are citizens waiting here.

The municipal corporation on Friday inspected and measured the road between Ashish Garden and Shrishti Society and made markings. Officials said the road was not cleared as some people did not leave the area despite receiving compensation. Those who have been given alternative houses, compensation and those who have left their houses, were vacated at this time. However, a decision has to be taken regarding the shops on the road and the new encroachments.

Residents of Sagar Colony expressed their grievances in front of Kothrud Regional Office Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Kadam, Corporators Dilip Vedepatil, Ganesh Warpe, Ritesh Vaidya and Nitin Sonawane. Citizens should not do injustice to anyone while taking action, pay proper compensation, demanded the citizens of the settlement at this time.
