Peanut prices rise by Rs 200
Peanut prices have gone up by Rs 200. Peanut demand in the market is stable. But bad goods are coming more in the market. Only 10% of the revenue is good. At present, 40-50 tonnes of groundnuts are entering the market daily from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, West Bengal and Karnataka. In the wholesale market, light goods fetch Rs 80 to Rs 85 per kg, while high quality goods fetch Rs 100 to Rs 120 per kg. Trader Ashok Lodha also predicted that the rise in prices would remain stable for another two months.
