Poor condition of Baby Canal in Hadapsar

The Baby Canal from Hadapsar to Sade Satara has deteriorated and turned into a gutter. Due to the negligence of the Municipal Corporation, the silt and water hyacinth in the canal have not been removed for many years and the incidence of dengue and malaria has increased in the area. Citizens are demanding early cleaning of the canal. However, the Municipal Corporation and the Irrigation Department have ignored this question.
