Pest control fell to 21 lakhs

Locking the house as a precautionary measure after pest control cost a businessman living in the Dhole-Patil road area dearly. After locking the house and going to the commercial farm house, the thieves broke into his flat. In this, gold and silver jewelery, diamond necklace and cash amounting to Rs 21 lakh 16 thousand were stolen.
Shantanu Ganeshrao Dhole-Patil (age 39, resident of Dhole-Patil Road) lodged a complaint at Koregaon Park Police Station.
According to police, Shantanu had done pest control in the house on December 7. As a result, he closed his house and moved to a farm house in Talegaon. When the house opened the next day, they noticed a burglary. The burglar had entered the house by lifting the main door. The thieves stole Rs 2 lakh in cash, gold and silver and diamond jewelery from the house. Therefore, he immediately reached the police station and lodged a complaint. After that, senior police inspector of Koregaon Park police station Pramod Patki visited the spot. They investigated the scene. Sub-Inspector of Police Rupesh Chaalke is investigating the case. Police are checking CCTV in the area to find the thieves.
