41 thousand students for eleventh admission
9,054 students have secured admission in the second round of 11th admission in junior colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. A total of 41,021 people were admitted in the first and second rounds, according to the Central Admission Control Committee. Only 43 per cent of the students who qualified for the second round have been admitted.
The state government had started the admission process for the second round of Class XI admission from November 26. 46,794 students were eligible for the second round after the students filled the preference order. Out of which 23 thousand 120 people were selected for this round. 10 thousand 658 students had given their consent. But the admission of 9 thousand 954 students has been confirmed till the last day. Applications of 13 students have been rejected. Admission taken by 55 people has been canceled. 12 thousand 462 students did not respond to the second round admission.
In the first and second rounds, 33,163 students have been admitted from the cap round. A total of 41,032 people have been admitted from the in-house quota, 4,090 from the minority quota, 2,700 from the management quota and 1,068 from the management quota.
