 Pune has many unique museums and we just found one in amchi Pune. It brings the Sheldon Cooper in you, Joshi's Museum of Miniature Railways is definitely the stuff of your dreams. It was set up in 1998 and till date, it has everything you could possibly think of! You can find 65 signals, stations, fences, lampposts, the works! The whole layout can be controlled via a computer and decide which station the train will stop at and it has a variety of trains like steam trains, diesel engines, high-speed intercity express, trams, underground train, rope railway and much more. And the best part is that the museum is a result of 40 years of hard work by railway enthusiast and engineer, B S Joshi. It has over 2,000 miniature figurines and lighting effects. Not only is it a great way to discover the city, but it’s also a great way to get kids excited about trains and make it a teaching experience out of it.
